Privacy and Data Protection Policy

Data controller: In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - we would like to inform the data subjects that the data controller is S.A. Brasserie de Luxembourg Mousel-Diekirch, Rue de la Brasserie 2, 9214 Diekirch, in joint controllership with the participating store as regards the processing activities related to the organization of the contest. 


Purpose of processing: The purpose of the processing is the execution of the contest (i.e. the management of your participation in the contest, selection of a winner, notifying the winner, delivery of the prize to the winner etc.). Collection of participations, selection of the winner and delivery of the prize will be done by the participating store. Personal data collected will not be shared with InBev.


Categories of personal data: The categories of personal data that will be processed are your identification and contact details: surname, first name, date of birth (to check if you are old enough to participate in the contest), e-mail address and phone number. 


Legal basis for processing: You can voluntarily participate in the contest. We process your personal data obtained from such participation based on your consent and will use it only for the purpose of organizing and completing the competition.

 

For any other processing of personal data, we will request your consent separately.


Destination of the data: The personal data used for this processing will be collected and stored by the participating store, it will not be transferred to InBev nor to any other recipient.


Rights of the people: Data subjects may exercise the following rights at any time:

a)Right of access: The data subject can obtain confirmation of the personal data processed by the controller.

 

b)Right of rectification: The data subject has the right to demand the modification of inaccurate or incomplete data.

 

c)Right to erasure: The data subject may demand that their data not be processed without undue delay, when the consent is revoked or the legal basis for the processing no longer exists.

 

d)Right to restriction of processing: The data subject has the right to demand the restriction of the processing of his personal data when the conditions set out in Article 18 of the GDPR apply.

 

e)Right to data portability The data subject may request their personal data and, where appropriate, these must be communicated to them in a structured and accessible format.

 

f)Right of opposition: The data subject has the right to oppose the processing of personal data concerning him, and the controller will cease all processing, unless he demonstrates the existence of compelling and legitimate reasons for carry out the processing, which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal rights.

 

g)Right to withdraw consent: the data subject may withdraw their consent at any time without this affecting the legality of the processing prior to the withdrawal.

 

Data subjects can exercise their rights by sending their request to the participating store.


Retention period: The personal data concerned by this processing will be stored by the participating store for as long as is necessary for the organization of the contest.

 

Technical and organizational measures (TOM’s): The controllers will set the technical and organizational measures necessary to guarantee the security of the processing.


Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit /Autorité de protection des données, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, Tel +32 (0)2 274 48 00, e-mail: contact@apd-gba.be.
